We all have said something akin to "those were the best days, etc." And while they may have been great memories from high school, your wedding and the births of you kids, they are now just memories. You can look at pictures of them, but don't dwell too much on them.
That is a problem I have had. I look back to when I could drive or speak without trouble and think they were the best of times. But I am learning that each day I have is just as good as the one before. So, I will take off the rear-view mirror and just focus oh what lies ahead!!
I read a verse this morning that really struck me today. Ecclesiastes 7:10 - "Do not say, 'Why were the old days better than these?' For it is not wise to ask such questions." It really is great advice. Of course it is, it came from the Bible!!
Have a great weekend!!

Another great post, Michael. We can't change the past!
The older I get the less I worry about what happened before.
We just have to look ahead and keep on truckin' as they said in the 60s.
